Interview answer builder
Pick the questions you expect, build a short answer to each one step by step, then practise out loud with a timer. Print your notes to read on the way. For "tell me about a timeā¦" questions we use the STAR method: Situation, Task, Action, Result.
Nothing leaves your device. Everything you type stays in this browser tab. We don't see it, store it or send it anywhere.
Practise out loud
Say each answer out loud. Most answers work best at one to two minutes. Your notes stay hidden until you want them.
Press "Start practice" to get your first question.

Tips for the interview
- Use real examples. A short true story with a result is better than a general claim.
- Keep answers short: about one to two minutes. Stop when you have given the result.
- Learn the points, not the words. Reading a script sounds stiff; know your four STAR points and speak naturally.
- Be honest. If you don't know something, say so and say how you would find out.
- Video interviews: test the link, camera and sound the day before, and sit somewhere quiet with light on your face.
